New York City 2026

Bob and I were invited to our friends’ Jacob & Erica’s wedding in New York City! We were more than excited to sneak in a weekend away to attend. They got married at sunset on a Ferry with the City Skyline and the Statue of Liberty in the background. It was one of the coolest experiences I have ever had the pleasure to witness. I was asked to record their ceremony. Which was a big deal because they are both in the film industry, so I was deeply honored to hold the camcorder. Our hotel was right next to China Town so we spent our days riding the subway, exploring the city, and of course eating copious amounts of Chinese food. What an adventure!

Favorite activities included: Eating a slice of pizza folded (the way New Yorkers do it) I enjoyed the sensation of walking into Central Park. Suddenly physically feeling the quiet and hearing nature was a very strange sensation. You don’t really know how loud everything is, until it isn’t. Last but not least was visiting MoMA where I got to see Andrew Wyeth’s Cristina’s World.
